At the moment, processes run locally in a network node representing your computer. In the future, you will also be able to deploy other nodes, such as virtual machines in the cloud, and control execution in those remote computers from within your local instance of the system.

In a more distant future, you will also be able to connect to and consume services from other people's nodes.
